UFOs over Wales - always interesting
Everyone has to be intrigued by stories of UFOs. Are we alone in this vast universe? I doubt it.
The original ‘War of the Worlds’ (not the latest Tom Cruise film) sparked panic when it was first broadcast on the radio; ET gives us a heart-warming view of alien visitors; Close Encounters gives us another friendly view; Independence Day gives us the alternative. What’s going on beyond our atmosphere fascinates us all to some degree.
UFOs aren’t necessarily signs of ‘aliens’ though. Comments, atmospheric anomolies… they are all just unknown and in the air. Take a look at the following photo which was taken in South Wales:

Impressive, but it could be anything. There are a couple of explanations given here.
Goes to show that having a camera with you may eventually pay off. The next mobile phone you buy better have a camera!

I’d go with the con-trail suggestion from the main story. A plane has just flown by, the sun is shining. The photograph gives the impression that it’s like a meteor but it was probably just as still and motionless as the photo shows. Good photo though.
