West Wales Holiday Village

This looks like a major development for West Wales.

The Bluestone holiday village is a proposed new complex currently being planned near Narbeth. One of the controversial issues is that it’s partially to be built on National Park land.

500 acres, log cabins, spas, sports facilities and more. A snow dome is planned for the second phase of the development.

I’m very sorry to see the Park Land (however small) turned over to developers. It sets dangerous precedents that lay the groundwork for envrionmental destruction. Sadly, developers often “go a bit beyond” what they have on their plans and, gosh they’re terribly sorry about that. Unfortunately “terribly sorry” doesn’t restore what was “accidentally” lost.

Indeed, developers (everywhere) often seem to use the “oops” form of permission - easier to pay a fine and get what they want then to get all the necessary permissions in the first place. >sigh
