The National Waterfront Museum
At £38million it’s a big and impressive addition to Swansea’s list of attractions. The National Waterfront Museum in Swansea will “tell the story of Wales’ industrial and maritime heritage and its role in shaping today’s economy and society“.
Located in Swansea’s Maritime Quarter, within walking distance from the city centre, this development combines the old and the new to bring Swansea, and Wales, a new landmark.
The Museum was opened on Tuesday 18th October 2005 so the website is also new and there are some sections still under construction (including the What’s On section) but I’m sure they’ll be live soon - take a look.
