It’s always interesting to find out what other people think of you or your country. This evening, I decided to see what the New York Times had to say about Wales, if anything.

A quick search of the NYT website resulted in a whole page in the Travel section being returned, all devoted to this little corner of the world. Quite a few articles shown but the latest was flagged as November 2004. All the articles were free to read, however registration was required - this was quick and painless.

Worth a look if you’ve got some time on your hands and want something interesting to read.

Also, take a look at the bottom of the page at the ‘Recent News from Wales‘ link. A quick click and you’re presented with the latest from Wales, from an America viewpoint. Anything with a little orange ‘T‘ next to it will require payment before you can read it, but some of the stories are free.
