Agree with David Lakers comment, CDs from less known MVCs such as Chepstow which are not produced on big budgets have the bare essentials for accompaniment and thus have a more authentic MVC sound in my view.

The Fron did pique my interest in MVCs again though so I am grateful to them for that.

Dear Sirs, my wife bought me the V.O.T.V CD and the voices sent shivers up my spine but why oh why do producers muddy the recording with an over-indulgence of 'support' musicians, what these fine peoples voices can't manage, doesn't need doing, they're far better than that.
              Yours very sincerely..............David Laker.

I had the privilege of attending the Fron Male Voice Choir’s concert “Songs of the Shows” on Saturday 21st October. It was the first choir concert that I’ve ever attended. My wife and I were curious after all publicity the choir have attracted with their new CD and we were not disappointed. Leyland Band and the Fron Male Voice Choir must be congratulated on a thoroughly professional and entertaining concert and both more than deserved the standing ovation given to them at the end of the concert.

We are now new coverts to Male Voice singing, I am not surprised that Daniel Glatman was so moved when he first heard them. We are looking forward to the release of the Choir’s CD in November and their concert in the William Aston Hall in March
