Welsh on Wiki

WikipediaWikipedia, the Free online Encyclopedia, has some interesting information on the Welsh language.

Covering the language’s history, grammar, dialects and more, the Wiki section on Welsh is quite an eye-opener.  Even if you come from Wales or live here, there’s still a great deal which you can learn from 10 minutes reading Wiki’s notes.

If Welsh is your first language, try Wiciadur - Wikipedia in Welsh.

  1. Rhys Says:

The Wiciadur is actually a wiktionary (dictioanry wiki)
The Welsh language wikipedia is Wicipedia

There’s also Welshpedia (not sure what the point is)

A new wiki which is really easy to use is Cardiffpedia

Wiki Eisteddfod 2007 is a wiki in preperation for the 2007 National Eisteddfod in Mold. The idea is that people in the local area and businesses can let other people visiting the area know what’s available locally, and also an opprtunity for stall holders and performers to let people know what where and when things will take place on the Maes itself.
