In what turned into a real nail-biter rugby match this past weekend, the Llanelli Scarlets took down Toulouse on their home turf. Vying for the Heinekin Cup, the teams seemed pretty well matched as they took the field on Saturday.

But the French blasted out of the gate scoring their first try minutes after the start of the match and Toulouse seemed unstoppable as they rushed for three more trys leaving the Scarlets at a 10-31 disadvantage.

The Welsh hit back hard in the second half holding the French at bay and scoring three tries giving them an unprecidented win against Toulouse on their home turf. Something no other Welsh team has managed.

So hats off to Stephen Jones and the lads for a game well played and a well-earned victory!
