The Guardian has produced an interesting list of the most useful websites. This sort of list is always a great way of discovering sites which other people have discovered and favour.

Most of the sites listed are the big names such as the BBC, Google and YouTube, but there are some other ones which you may not have heard of.  Onelook is a website that has been on my ‘favourites’ list for many years - a great online dictionary site.
