Severn Bridge Toll Increases
Severn River Crossing PLC welcomes in the New Year with toll rises on both Severn River Crossings.
The new tolls are applicable from the 1st of January 2007.
New Tolls
Cars and Motor Caravans: £5.10 (increase of 20p)
Small Goods Vehicles and Small Buses: £10.20 (increase of 40p)
Heavy Goods Vehicles and Buses: £15.30 (increase of 60p)

£5.10? That’s highway robbery!

a motor car carrying a person recieving Incapacity Benefit pays no toll.
Compare this to a retired person on State pension Currently £84.35 per week.
Who has to pay the sum of £5.10 .
a relative of mine runs his own[succesfull ]company in Devon. Yet he pays no toll because his spouse is on [a genuine] Incapacity Benefit.
