2005 Living in Wales Statistics
7,786 households,
49% had Internet access,
>25% had a concessionary bus pass,
24% of people provided unpaid help to someone who was not a relation.
Just a few of the statistics which resulted from the 2005 Living in Wales Survey commissioned by the Welsh Assembly Government. The 2005 Survey was the second such survery to be commissioned currently managed by the Local Government Data Unit - Wales.
Each selected household answered questions on the following topics:
- Tenure
- Provision of services/amenities
- Household composition, ethnicity, religion, employment
- Household income
- Use of, and ability with, Welsh language
- Disability and long term limiting illness
- Neighbourhood/area features
- Values and opinions
- Volunteering
- Quality of Life
- Equality issues
- Environment
- Transport
- Internet usage
