Starting in 2008, people will no longer have to travel all the way to London to get cancer scans (PET scans). A new medical centre in Cardiff will provide the latest scanning technology services to patients in Wales. The new centre will be located at Cardiff University’s School of Medicine and is a collaboration between Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust.
