Plans to re-vitalize the waterfront in Swansea will include a new sports centre. Focusing on “adrenaline sports” such as wind surfing and water-skiing, the Sports Park will be part of a “revamp” of five miles of Swansea coastline. Plans include, among other things, new tourist and family-oriented attractions, Mumbles Pier and Blackpill Lido. The plans, having been viewed by Swansea Council are now going out for public consultation. Sounds like a great project!
