Who Owned That Ref!!!!!
Well I think we all know the answer to that one! Let’s see, I counted no less than two penalties against Italy in the second half ALONE that should have been called - right in front of the ref. What was he blind? And what about that hit to Stephen Jones? That was a sin bin call if ever I’ve seen one. Stomping after the ball was long gone? How’d the Italian get away with that one? Even on a tiny, blurred screen over the Scrum V website I saw it!!!
But the killer was calling that game as Wales was on the verge of, at very least, evening the score!!! Honestly, it was almost as if that ref took a look at the possibility of Italy in a tie or a loss situation and made the decision that enough was enough, he was having none of THAT!
I am absolutely disgusted and I hope the WRU takes issue with the way the officiating was handled in this game. And from the reaction of our pack I doubt this is the last we’ll hear of this game.
Well played lads! You did a sensational job and proved once again that you could not just equal but best the competition. You should have and WOULD have had that win. My hat’s off to you.

Totally agree. The decision to end the game at that particular point cost Wales at least a draw and possibly a win - not to mention the other refereeing blunders. Pretty disgraceful considering this is 6 nations rugby.

Well, well. It’s because he’s a ’sais’…. that’s why……. maybe it’s because you’re paranoid with a large chip on your shoulder and a big fat wooden spoon to shove up your a**e!!
As the English are told after moaning about refereeing decisions - get over it and play better rugby. You had 80 minutes to win the game - 10 seconds won’t save your ass.
