Love in the Air
And on the road, apparently. Only this year, toads crossing a busy Neath road to reach Cwm Clydach Pond will get a helping hand from Bryncoch volunteers. Signs have been posted and volunteers will wear reflective vests to ensure love-struck toads reach their destination in one piece.
In the mess of violence, wars and horrid news stories that are so much a part of our daily lives, I think it’s lovely to take a moment and read about people willing to set aside their own concerns for the benefit of creatures who are poorly equipped to deal with the world we’ve created around them.

Very nice but this “wet blanket” wants to ask how many of them would stop to help a person across a busy street. How many would even slow down their driving so a person could get across?
