Wel, dyma hwyl!

Dr. Who fans in four locations in Wales were treated to an exclusive preview of the new series season. Cardiff, Swansea, Aberystwyth and Wrexham hosted the premieres of the series which is produced in Wales. Much of of filming is also done in Wales (Cardiff), with rave reviews by the lead actor, David Tennant, who remarked on the enthusiasm of the Welsh people. Stating “Cardiff is a great city and has been very good to us,” he continued “It’s lovely to film there because everyone is so enthusiastic.”

“You try filming in London and everyone’s so mean about it and complains that there is a huge camera truck parking in their street. Everyone in Cardiff seems to welcome us with open arms.”

The series writer, Russell T Davies, hails from Swansea.
