I’m delighted to report that scrum-half Justin Marshall has decided to remain with the Ospreys. Signing an extension on his contract, he said, “The team treat me well, I’m managed well. The Ospreys are fantastic.”.

Of course I couldn’t agree more!

Needless to say, Kevin Hopkins was pleased, stating “We are delighted that a player of Justin’s calibre has shown commitment to the Region, by extending the term of his contract. This not only demonstrates his loyalty to this Region, but also reflects well on the Region as a whole and on its ambition.”

The extension will keep him on the team until the end of the 2008/2009 season.

The Ospreys are facing off against the Scarlets on the 24th which should prove an exciting match as old rivalries are sure to come to the forefront.
