Flowers, Flowers and More Flowers!
In my ongoing love affair with Swansea, tonight I’ll introduce you to the annual Clyne in Bloom event at Clyne Gardens in Blackpill. The gardens are in fine form with azaleas and rhododendrons stealing the show in an especially nice display this year.
With over 2,000 different types of plants to view there’s plenty to keep you busy on a self-guided stroll through the gardens. There are plenty of events coming up, including a concert series beginning this coming Sunday and continuing through the month of May. The rare plant sale is set for the 20th, children’s workshops are available throughout the month, and all for free! If you don’t mind a minimal charge (£1 for adults and 50p for kids) you can take one of the Clyne’s guided bird and wildlife walks.
