Something I wish I’d found!

I imagine when the Charity worker in Bangor opened up a donated book to find not just a lithograph by Picasso, but a design by Matisse, it probably blew her away. I know it would me!

A mystery donor contributed the book, a copy of Le Ballet, ‘compiled’ in the 50’s. I’ll quote the BBC here as they’ve described it nicely:

“The Picasso lithograph depicts a dancer and the book also features photographs of Nijinsky and set designs by Parisian artist Toulouse-Lautrec.”

The Charity worker, Mrs. Willis, said, “It’s a startling book and very beautiful.”

The Charity hopes to fetch upwards of £500 pounds for the book at its upcoming auction.
