Well…..

Having found myself unable to get the monopoly site to work, I found myself reading the BBC news alerts instead. Now, normally I try to avoid writing about depressing stuff - what’s the point, we all have our problems, why bring everybody down with depressing dissertations. But I have to say that whoever did the vandalism on the steam train that volunteers have spent so many hours restoring, ought to be drawn and quartered then dragged through the streets and thrown in the bae.

Do I sound angry? Yes, I am. I don’t know the people who’s project was ruined. Nor do I know the people who destroyed it. But I know what it’s like to spend hours creating something you love to have it ruined by someone else. And I do know that I don’t now, nor have I ever understood the mentality behind vandalism.

The article says a bunch of kids probably did the deed. And this is typical wherever you are in the world. Thankfully it’s not typical of most of the kids of the world.
