Hot Weather Everywhere?
But the UK I guess. I was sitting here this evening trying to think of what to write about when I heard the commentator on the evening world news talking about temperatures topping 100°F/38°C in Canada - some even hovering around the 111°F/44°C mark. And I’m here to tell you that is bloody hot!
Here in Northern California we are WAY up over 100°F/38°C. We topped out at 111°F yesterday with temperatures at 10:00 right around the 93°F mark - great fireworks watching weather anyway.
So whilst we’re all sweltering here in North America, you guys in the UK are wearing wooley sweaters and mopping up floods. So much for our illustrious president’s contention there is no such thing as global warming, eh?
Here’s an interesting website on global warming.
And on our side of the pond - here’s our government’s take on it (I haven’t read it so don’t blame me if they say something stupid.)
And in case you’re still not convinced, have a look here.

Where in Canada? In a country so large, that can make quite a difference.
