New Kit for Wales
And it’s snazzy too!
Claiming the new jerseys will “neutralise potential “tackling points”, reduce the risk of muscle injury and support the body in contact” Wales hopes the new shirts will boost their chances for the World Cup this year. From a female supporter standpoint I say the kit does a sensational job of showing off some well-honed male bodies. The rest of it is just gravy as far as I’m concerned.
I have to say, however, that the lads don’t look all that happy about it in this photo, do they? I’m sure that’s not the intent of the expressions but it looks to me like they’re plenty angry about the whole thing.
At any rate, at the same time I received that news alert from the WRU, I also received an invitation from the WRU to buy my very own replica jersey. Well, as I said, I think they are pretty nice and what better way to support the lads than sporting the same kit.
Until I looked at the prices.

Are they serious? I love rygbi practically more than life. But short of winning the lottery, robbing a bank or suddenly becoming independently wealthy, it’s not likely I’ll be able to afford one any time soon. More’s the pity too, as I really do like them and red’s an awfully nice color on me. :O(
