Snowdon Summit Blog

Snowdon SummitYour long journey finally reaches it end. The miles of rugged Welsh hillside now stretch behind you. The climb up Snowdon has been a long and arduous one. But it’s time to jump of the train and grab a cup of tea. (Not sure why people insist on still walking up!) But the old summit building no longer exists!!!

Construction of the new facility on the top of Snowdon is well underway with the metal framework now complete. It looks like it’s going to be an impressive feature to grace the top of our highest mountain and a welcome replacement to the previous building which served us well for so long.

That looks lovely! But I couldn’t help but wonder how many years it takes that little engine to push you to the top. :O)
