The Mumbles Train

The beauty of a site like YouTube is that you can find some true gems (amongst all the rubbish). Take a look, for example, at the video below of the Mumbles Train compliled and posted by YouTube user wildben. Apparently, back in 1807, the first railroad car was pulled between Swansea and Mumbles.

    Oh Brilliant films, Dave! Thanks!

    I saw that train in the museum whilst we were there and was hoping to find some momento of it in Mumbles to bring back to my brother-in-law who’s a train nut (didn’t find one). I loved the waterfront but I think they need to clean up the area by the sailbridge. The path was all weedy and the car par really could have benefited from a wee bit of pavement.
