Castell Coch, Tongwynlais
I’ve driven along the M4 motorway for years now. As far back as I can remember the M4 has been a major part of my life getting me to and from the Christmas shopping, getting me through my degree course, getting me to employment and getting me home to family and friends.
Every trip along that long, dull road, I’ve passed Castell Coch, an eye-catching fairy-tale castle high above the motorway nestled amongst the trees. What I have never done is take a detour from my journey and stop to visit the castle. Fortunately, the family behind The Pig’s Lip blog have been and have kindly posted photos from their trip on their long running blog.
There are some great photos of the castle on the post and some of St. Fagans.
Keep an eye on The Pigs Lip, it’s been up and running since 1992 and it’s one of the best personal blogs I’ve seen in a long time - some good photography too.
