Brechfa Village, Carmarthenshire

BrechfaWho? What? Brechfa? That was my initial response. I’d never heard of the village of Brechfa until I was pointed towards the Brechfa village website, run by… an anonomous webaster (Let us know your name! Post in the comments below!).

So, where is it? Well, it’s located in Carmarthenshire and appears to be a pleasant, small, Welsh village within reach of the main local town of Carmarthen. Brechfa has even been on the map for the Wales Rally GB 2006 - as can be seen in the photo pages of the site.

The website itself provides lots of information about the village including a piece on the history of Brechfa, which apparently has been know as “one of the most secluded villages in South Wales“. It also provides opening hours and information for the Community Shop and info and links to some of the people of the community.

A useful website for those in the area and an interesting site for those who originate from the village and wish to keep in touch having moved away.

Take a look as according to the blog, there’s been some updates recently and updates appear to be fairly frequently.
