Ray Gravell’s Passing
I’m sure you’ve all heard by this time that one of Welsh Rugby’s great players, Ray Gravell, has passed on. He died yesterday (Wednesday) after coming down ill whilst in Spain.
Like everyone else who follows rugby, I want to express how much he’ll be missed and, on behalf of all of us at ForumWales, offer our deepest sympathies to his family.

A campaign has been launched to re-name the “Prince William Cup” to “Cwpan Ray Gravell”. I read about here.
And a Facebook Group has also been created on the same issue!
Contact the WRU - info@wru.co.uk - urging them to change the name. This would be a perfect tribute to the Great Ray Gravell in my view.

I will never forget the first time I met Grav. What people have said these last few days is perfectly true. He had time for everyone and seemed to know everyone in the Llanelli area. He was a wonderful Welshman and will have left an indelible mark on anyone who met him. I will never forget him.
