I woke up to a lovely surprise this morning in the form of a dusting of snow on the hill behind my flat. Not a lot but just enough to make things pretty.

They’ve been threatening snow for a month or so now and up until this morning all we’d managed was a lot of sun and warm days. It actually looks as though that will be the case today as well. Not terribly cold and certainly plenty of sunshine.

OK, well I know it’s not all that exciting, everyone’s seen snow before. But when you see it for the first time in a new home, there’s something special about it.
