The City of Swansea is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Lord Mayoralty of the town by presenting every child born on March 22nd with a commemorative coin. The coins were specially minted to celebrate the anniversary and made of silver. I think this is a lovely thing to do.

The powers-that-be in Swansea are ready to begin the City Centre Core Retail Area remodel, so be prepared to deal with some inconvenience as they repave streets throughout the city centre.
