Debate, of course! Apparently disgruntled at Wales’ win in the bidding wars for the military training base in Glamorgan, some English MPs have taken exception to the selection process. But First Minister Rhodri Morgan assures us there were no ‘foul means’ involved in the bid.

Great news for Wales and the South East in particular as the Government confirms that a new defence training academy will be based at St Athan, near Cardiff. In addition to the creation of the new jobs, the academy will bring an estimated £58m into the local economy annually.
