Accelerated learning

Postby robin hughes on Wed Dec 09, 2009 5:01 pm

I recently posted a blog about using multi sensory learning to learn new welsh words. the methods of course work for any subject and in the process of doing this it has an amazing effect on brain chemistry. In effect it may help to alleviate memory loss in old age!
I was approached by the Bangor and Anglesey Mail as they thought the idea fascinating. and an article has now appeared in the paper! I have since been contacted by Radio Cymru and live on air had to explain the methods in Welsh! It,s amazing how the language returns when under pressure! The method can be used to learn French in a matter of a few days! It is hard to find anyone who is interested as they don,t believe it. Please make contact if you want more info, Diolch yn fawr Robin

Da iawn ti Robin!
By the way, have you seen the book 'Link Word Welsh' by Dr Michael M Gruneberg? It uses a similar visual-link method of learning vocab to the one you described in your original post. You're right about the method being very effective - I've often used the technique myself. :D
