Cleverer than puns

One consequence of coming to a language as a second language (in my case English)is that its quirks and absurdities are more apparent. It therefore becomes easier to twist the language, with some surprising results.
Through the simple device of adding or removing a letter or two it's possible to create a surrealistic image. For example the word "thunderpants" for extremely large and loud underwear or "truthpaste" - administered to a dishonest schoolboy by his inquisatorial mother (Torquemater?) or a "futility room" - a place where largely menial domestic chores are performed.
Then there are cross over Welsh/English words - "miceteddfod" "icesteddfod" "riceteddfod"?
Can anyone suggest some more? There are thousands of possibilities.
