Laurel and Hardy

Phew -- that was a hard one (the answer finally came to me in a dream last night..!). You've either got a very big dictionary, Mynwy, or you must work in a Welsh-speaking garden centre :)

So here's something bach yn haws, gobeithio:

That would be Dusty Springfield, I think. (Not really a band but a singer, but close enough.)

How about:

Crwydryn Uwch

Despite the thread's name, the original rules do say "Think of a pop group or singer" -- on which grounds
Band y Gardiau Nantoer would be ruled out! ;)

I guess that Crwydryn Uwch must be Supertramp.

Right you are; hadn't remembered that detail. Sorry! We have ranged fairly far and wide on this thread.

You are also correct that Crwydryn Uwch is Supertramp. I'll have to keep working on yours...

Huh. I've never heard of them, but I like that clip. I'll have to investigate further.

Ok, here's one I don't think we've had yet:

Guns N' Roses I presume -- although the lack of a leading apostrophe in the middle word always annoys the pedant in me.

How about Y Gwrthdaro?

That has to be The Kinks.

Now, I was afraid this next one might be too obscure, but through Google I found at least three bands with this name, in different places (of course), so I'm going to use it.
